How to Remove Pages from a PDF for Free
Deleting selected pages creates a new, cleaner PDF without changing the original document stored on your device.
When should you remove PDF pages?
Common examples include blank scanner pages, duplicated sheets, outdated instructions and confidential pages that should not be shared. Review the entire document first so page numbers match what you intend to remove.
Delete pages safely
- Open Delete PDF Pages.
- Select the PDF and enter individual pages or ranges, such as 2, 5-7.
- Create the edited copy.
- Check the first page, last page and every point where a page was removed.
- Keep the original until your review is complete.
Delete or extract?
Use deletion when most pages should remain. If you need only a few pages from a long document, extracting pages is faster and reduces the chance of sharing extra information.
Protect private information
Removing a page does not erase information repeated elsewhere, such as headers, attachments or metadata. Review the final PDF before sending it. HugPDF performs this operation locally in your browser.
