Document processing and storage

GetHugPDF tools process documents locally in your browser. Processing tools do not upload files, their passwords or contents to our server, and we do not store server copies or share document contents with third parties. Processing uses browser memory. Originals and downloaded results remain on your device until you delete them. Saving a Ready requirements template downloads a file to your device.

Browsing data and external services

No document upload does not mean no network activity. Some pages load Google Analytics and the Google AdSense script. Google may receive technical data such as IP address, browser information, pages and visits, and cookie identifiers according to browser and service settings. Our hosting provider receives requests and connection information needed to serve the website. Tool measurement code does not send filenames, passwords or document contents.

Data sharing

Processing tools do not share your files or extracted text. We use the hosting, analytics and advertising services described above, so we do not claim that no browsing data is shared. Email sent to support reaches our support mailbox and email provider; do not send confidential documents. See Google's Privacy Policy for its practices.

Cookies and local storage

The site saves language preference in browser storage. Google services may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement and advertising. These are not required for local document processing. You can clear cookies and local storage or block external services using browser settings; this may affect advertising, measurement and language preferences.
