Intellectual property and licensing

Original code, content and design belong to GetHugPDF or their respective rights holders. Original project code is offered under the Apache License 2.0 with the accompanying NOTICE. Third-party components retain their own licenses. “All rights reserved” does not override permissions expressly granted by the license or uses permitted by law. The license grants no trademark permission beyond its stated exceptions. The ™ symbol is not a claim of trademark registration. Users retain rights in their documents.

Service use

Process only files you own or are authorized to use. Do not infringe others' rights, bypass document protection without permission, distribute malware or disrupt the service. Device capacity and each tool's limits affect supported files. Hosted-service rules do not revoke rights granted for the licensed code.

Results and responsibility

Keep original files and review outputs. Conversion, compression and OCR can change text, layout, forms and digital signatures. Processing success, exact fidelity and a target output size are not guaranteed.

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service or accept liability for lost data or reliance on unchecked output. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
