How to Split a PDF into Separate Pages
Splitting a PDF lets you send only relevant pages, create smaller sections or separate records that were scanned together.
Choose the result
Use one collected PDF when selected pages belong together. Choose separate files when each page is an independent receipt or certificate.
Write page ranges correctly
Use commas for individual pages, such as 2, 5, 9, and hyphens for ranges, such as 3-7. Both forms can be combined.
- Open Split PDF.
- Enter the pages to keep.
- Create the result and compare its page count with your selection.
- Open the first and last selected pages.
Split, extract or delete?
- Split creates a new PDF from selected pages.
- Extract can create one file or separate files.
- Delete keeps everything except removed pages.
Review the output
Ensure it contains no extra pages or personal data the recipient does not need. Keep the original until checking is complete.
