How to Merge PDF Files on iPhone or Android
You can combine several PDFs directly in a mobile browser. Select every file, arrange the order and check the result before sharing it.
Prepare the files
Move the PDFs into one folder and give them clear names such as 01-cover, 02-report and 03-appendix. This makes their order obvious in the phone file picker.
Merge PDFs in your browser
- Open the Merge PDF tool in Safari or Chrome.
- Choose two or more PDF files.
- Use the movement controls to arrange them.
- Process the files and open the resulting PDF.
- Check the first page of each section, then download it.
Fix an incorrect order
If whole documents are misplaced, move them in the merge tool. If individual pages are misplaced, use Organize PDF first.
Tips for large files
- Close unused tabs to free memory.
- Keep the screen active while processing.
- Compress the result only after checking the page order.
- Keep the originals until the recipient accepts the merged file.
