Combine the right pages in the right order
Decide the sequence before selecting files: for example, a cover sheet, invoice and supporting attachment. The merger copies pages from each whole file in the selected order; it does not automatically sort by date or decide which attachments you need. Use Organize PDF if individual pages need moving, or Split PDF for a page range.
File limits and result checks
You can merge up to 20 PDFs, with a 50 MB limit for each file. Combined processing also needs device memory, so those limits do not guarantee success with every set of files. On a phone, save attachments to Files or Downloads first and keep the tool tab open until the result is ready.
Page content is copied rather than rasterized. Merging is not a compression step, and a smaller file is not guaranteed. Review forms, annotations, bookmarks and links in the final PDF; page copying is not a guarantee that all document-level features are preserved. Keep digitally signed originals because a newly combined document does not preserve their original cryptographic signature validity.
Privacy is something you can inspect
The merger does not require document contents to be sent to a processing server. The page and its libraries still need to load. To assess the workflow yourself, use disposable files and follow the network and offline privacy checks. An offline success supports the tested run, not every possible behavior of the site.
