ATS Resume Checker – Local PDF & Word Review
Check what can be extracted from your resume before you submit it. Review the text and formatting signals on your own device.
This is a practical readability checklist, not an employer ATS, certification or hiring prediction. Checks are approximate. A detected heading or contact string does not prove accuracy. Follow the employer’s file instructions.
File reading and checks run locally. Only the tool libraries and worker load from this site. Document contents are not uploaded or saved automatically.
Choose a file or paste text. No automatic saving.

This text preview is not a visual document preview. Check names, Arabic, contact details, dates and whether lines are in the intended order.

Sending to Job Match uses temporary tab storage only when you click. It does not modify your resume.
How to use the ATS checker
- Choose your PDF or DOCX, or paste text. For a protected PDF, first use an authorized unlocked copy.
- Review the extracted text and checklist. Missing headings and complex layouts are prompts for review, not automatic rejection.
- Fix genuine issues in your source resume, export again, and follow the employer’s requested format.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a real ATS score?
No. The percentage is passed available automated checks divided by all available automated checks. Manual, unavailable and optional heading checks are excluded. It does not predict recruitment-system behavior or acceptance.
Can it read scanned resumes?
It does not run OCR. A scanned PDF with little extractable text is flagged for review. Use a selectable-text resume when the application requires it.
Does it support Arabic?
Arabic text and headings are supported, but PDF extraction depends on fonts and encoding. Review the extracted Arabic yourself.
Are tables and columns always rejected?
No. Tables, text boxes and separated PDF text runs are review signals. The checker cannot reproduce a particular employer’s parser.
What does a missing section mean?
It means a recognized heading was not detected. Headings are checked using a limited multilingual list. Projects or education may be more relevant than employment for a graduate.
